Fine oak cased barograph with glass panels abd four vacuum chambers linking the recording arm to the day movement to the revolving circular drum with lever escapement.
Original brass holder, ink bottle and dipper and spares nib. Black plate with inset plaque bearing the makers name ‘Negretti & Zambra, London’. C.1950
‘Negretti & Zambra’ were undoubtedly the most famous barograph and instrument makers of the day. The firm had premises at Hatton Garden, Cornhill, Regent Street and Fleet Street and were appointed ‘Instrument makers to her Majesty’.

Very nice condition for movement glass and case. The black painted metal base has some very slight paint loss. All very sound and well cared for.
